I think both of these guys will be a steal for an NFL team.
 
These guys were shut out the last two seasons on 3rd down and really covered a lot of deficiencies in our front 7
 
White will translate over to the NFL well. I have doubts as golden lacks has the speed or size/strength to be successful, but not both. I.o.w. if he was there steps quicker he'd be big enough. We'll see how his offseason workouts have been going.
 
Golden didn't seem the same, especially on punt returns after the injury. Imo, White will make a team.
 
Idk, but I remember Golden's name being called over and over for tackles this season. He didn't have many or any spectacular punt returns because he seemed to call a fair catch almost every punt. Is that his decision or ST coach?

Unless it's late in the game the ST coach will rarely tell the player when to fair catch it. That's usually precipitated by how fast the opposing gunners get downfield and how much hang time the punt has.

I think 6th and 7th rounds are likely for both of these guys. White is supposedly a good cover corner, although I think he struggles playing the ball in the air. There seemed to be quite a few times where he never got his head around to play the ball and would try to knock the ball out once the receiver had contacted the ball.

Golden has potential as a defensive player and special teamer because of his return skills. With him, I think it comes down to his 40 and shuttle times at the combine. If he could get those way down, he could move up to the 4th or 5th round.
 
not sure about golden, i think white has a better chance....but...who knows....one reason just being the volume of CB's needed, but white looks like a good 2 deep corner too
 
You mean they have been here 4 or 5 years and this is the first time I noticed they are the school colors when you put them together?
 
I love these guys and what they meant to our team but I wouldn't expect them to play any significant minutes for an NFL team.
