Unfortunately, five of them could really pull a Hawaii and mess up the 'at large' bids. Only 3 of those 10 have to come off the list because of head to head match-ups.

Texas (Big 12)
Alabama (SEC)
Penn State (Big 10)
Texas Tech (Big 12)
Oklahoma St (Big 12)
BYU (MWC)
Utah (MWC)
Boise St (WAC)
Ball St (MAC)
Tulsa (Conf USA)

Look at the Big 12, I think they are truly THE conference this year. They have stolen back the crown from the SEC in my opinion, especially after watching that UT v. OU game: incredible matchup. Much more fun to watch than the massive beatings of UF v. LSU or Alabama v. UGAy. My question is: if UT and Penn State run the table and you have a one loss SEC team, what is the SEC biased media to do?? I am guessing they will find some form of rationale to put the 1 loss SEC against one of the undefeated teams, we will see...

probably. I agree on the Big 12. I also enjoyed the Missouri-OkSt game.

I would just love to see the ACC put two teams in if we can finish with two one loss teams. I know it is unlikely...but wishful thinking.

Cajun, I disagree with you on this one. If anything, maybe the local media here are SEC biased, but the national media is much less so, especially compared to Big10(11). And can you imagine the media love for Joe Pa if he is undefeated? If UT and Joe Pa are undefeated -- I will guarantee a Big 10 - Big 12 championship game--the media would be all over that game.
