not saying i am predicting it...but richmond won't be a pushover...and why are some of you guys predicting a win at kansas...the fighting manginos are greatly improved...thats a L. A L vs N Carolina Central...ya'll are u serious or am I missing something...
 
I think they win all their non-ACC games and ... wait for it ... at least one ACC game, maybe UVA again.

I am going to need to see at least 3 reliable sources for this information, along with a ticket stub to a "Duke Football" homegame, three cheerleaders, a Duke student of non-white ethinicity, and a student to pass Jim Harrick Jr. football test including such little known rules as "how much is a 2-point conversion worth" and "How many players are on the field for each team A. 2 B. 11 C. 45,000 D. Grand Canyon"

If you can give me these, then I will start to believe you.
 
Oh yeah, if they did have a football team, looking at that schedule, they will win a squeaker first game, then go 1-11 for the year.
 
I don't think Duke will be closer than 21 against Kansas.

They get Richmond, Army, NCC, and either UVA or NC.
 
They do have a real coach now, though.

They damn near beat VT last year.

You are right - I forgot about the spiders winning their division last year. As for Kansas, I just don't like 'em and think they are overhyped.

You say that, but when ESPN was doing their prestige ranking stuff I found out at one point Duke had a season where they were not only undefeated but UN-****ING-SCORED UPON. That has been the most ridiculous stat I've ever heard.

Though they also didn't have their starter QB, which at Duke means you start throwing basketball players on the field.
