We are not the only Coastal team to be bitten by the injury bug yesterday. Duke's starting QB and a starting CB had surgery today, the former is out indefinitely with a fractured clavicle, the latter will miss the season with a dislocated hip. Could be season-wrecking injuries.

That’s weird. I saw a summary of their game on the news last night and they talked about Jones but didn’t mention that he had gotten hurt.

I was unaware til it popped up on my twitter feed today. Assume it must have happened late.

I saw Duke against Army and their QB was playing quite well. This will be a big loss for them. He was one of the top three QB’s in the conference.

Have y'all not watched when we play against backup QB's? I'd put Duke in the win column, but I'm not so sure now. Heaven help us if we have to play their 3rd string QB.

No excuses for CPJ this year. The Coastal is the weakest it’s been since he got here. ACCCG is a must.
This is an interesting idea. Miami started in the Top 10 and VT in the Top 25. I agree that UNC looks bad and UVA just lost to Indiana. The Coastal's never been a particularly intimidating division. I don't know yet how it stacks up compared to other seasons.

That said, I also agree that we can win it this year – but the reason we must isn't because it's unusually weak, but because we haven't been to the ACCCG since 2014. Time for a return to CLT.

We get a few injuries and the Sandy Vag squad here blames the loss on 'em.

Puke gets a few injuries and beats NW anyway.

That's the difference between Cutcliffe and IIWII CPJ.
