Duke overcame the loss of Kelby Brown the last two seasons and still managed to beat us. I'm not taking a Duke win for granted anymore, but I can't help but feel a little schadenfreude for their loss. Too bad for the kid, though.

Duke was expected to take a step back this year, even before they lost their Bowl MVP QB. It looks like RS freshman QB, Daniel Jones, might beat out junior Parker Boehme for the starting job. Jones came to Duke as a preferred walk-on, but is considered a late bloomer who might be pretty good. Still, it's unlikely that he or Boehme will play anywhere near the level of redshirt senior Sirk.
