Durant Brooks wins

That's awesome! Go Durant!

However, is it just me, or is it sad that the best performing player on our team this year was our punter? Still, I'm damn proud to call him a Yellow Jacket!

It's never sad to have the best player at his position. You can't do much better than Durant has done while he's been here. Durant and Travis Bell don't get enough credit for what they've done, but they have both been really solid. Special teams will definitely suffer next year without them.

Best performing player? That's gotta be Tashard Choice who played hurt and still was the best. But that is not to take anything away from Durant who truly is the nation's best punter.
 
An older Tech fan who was around when Dodd was still the coach made an interesting comment. Said that Bobby Dodd would have won 10 games with Bell and Brooks.

As much as I liked Rodney, I would take Durant because of his pressure kick from the end zone last year. Unbelievable.

Rodney Williams was ridiculously inconsistent. The Reggie Ball of punters if you will.

Durant Brooks is a stud who will get paid by an NFL team.
 
And started his college career at my alma mater.

Congrats to Durant. :biggthumpup: I never liked seeing him come in the game because that means we weren't scoring but I was never worried about giving the other team good field position.
