Do you like Dwyers nickname the Diesel?

Hate it. Shaq is and always will be the Diesel. To me, nicknames are all about originality.

I like it, it makes me think of a semi truck with 1500 lb-ft of torque rumbling right at you.

i like "D-train" which is what i have heard the other players call him at times, plus it makes me remember my childhood...

Now THIS I would wholeheartedly support, especially since it has a funny story behind it. Runnin' like a caveman!

Does have the added bonus of a nice sign with Dwyer. "Beating <team of the week>, so easy a caveman could do it"

First I've heard of it. Seems appropriate enuff but I don't like it. Sounds too much like Dweezil, who is a fantastic guitarist, but that's beside the point.

Nicknames are overrated. JD reminds me a little bit of William Bell. Did he have a nickname?

Just wanted to ask what everyone thought of the nickname for JD?
Both The Diesel (John Riggins, Shaq) and Letter-Train have been used multiple times.

The Caveman is unique and has a reason for the name. Diesel and D-Train have no history.

All it will take is one person to make this sign with a picture of Dwyer on it, or even just #21, to a televised game. One of the announcers sees it, or even if it's just shown on tv, and I guarantee it will stick over "the diesel"

Caveman is not unique. I've heard Doc Walker say that to describe many players. He'll also call some players, specifically on defense, werewolves.
