AVERAGE TD RUN: 45.9 yds

I have never seen anything like this before.

Those are All American stats--he should get some consideration!!

If he was playing in Canada he'd have a couple hundred more yards.

There are a couple of things that make him really amazing:

1) His ability to break tackles
2) His ability to drag defenders even after they have their arms wrapped around him
3) His breakout speed
4) His deceptive speed, that makes defenders take bad angles on him
5) He can make cuts completely unexpected of someone of his size (the 23 yd. UGA was a prime example)

Dwyer is playing really well, and I have no doubt he will keep getting better.

This kid is something special and I don't think (even after all we have seen of him) we know what we have in Dwyer. This kid has the ability to go down in Tech history as one of the greatest backs to ever come to the Flats.

Another interesting thought is that his stats may well go down next year with the eligibility of Anthony Allen. Further, Roddy Jones will be looking for some carries as well. Is this a good thing (it sure seems like it, particularly taking typical RB injuries into consideration) or is it a circumstance that's going to result in unhappy campers?

I wouldn't count on his stats going down. When we are putting 400+ yds a game on the ground, there will be plenty to go around. Dwyer is the feature back and as long as he's here, he will get ALOT of touches.

PJ has never had a B back with this much power and speed so if someone gets more carries, it wont be at Jon's expense.

The only stat that I would bet on going down is the 45.9 yards/TD.
I wonder what the NCAA record is for backs scoring more than 10 TD's and gaining more than a 1,000 yards in a season? I bet it isn't even close.

SORRY about the double post --got carried away thinking about the DIESEL!!

Did he JUMP OVER A GUY?!??!?!??!!?

Those stats are insane. Amazing the lack of respect Tech players get: Dwyer, Morgan Burnett, the D-line as a whole. Gets annoying. But it's ok, if we keep winning I'll take it!
