Congrats on scoring fifty in Athens, UGA. Bout time someone other than me did it.

People said it looked like Greyson Lambert was throwing against air, but that's wrong. Air puts pressure on things.

That was actually pretty good.

On a related note, I haven't heard much at all from the real Hatin' Ass Spurrier these days. I think he really might be on the way out. USC fans are already jumping ship in droves and calling for his firing. On SC sports radio I hear caller after caller coming up with every way possible to not give Spurrier credit for making them a good team. It's pretty delusional.

Being in the SEC had a lot to do with USCe "rising to power"...not just Spurrier. SECSPN did a lot of recruiting for them over the last 10 years.

Still think Spurrier is a badass though.

Tell that to Kentucky and Vanderbilt. They might have had upswings, but they're no worldbeaters.

Better yet, tell that to Florida and Tennessee, who have had their worst teams of my lifetime during this supposed SEC rise to greatness.

I get your point, but it's not that simple. They were the Dook of the SEC for all of history, and Spurrier had 3 straight 11 win seasons with them.

I think he may have lost some of his mojo, but to deny him credit for what he did at USCe is absurd. Imagine if our next coach came in and won 5 straight over UGA. How would you feel about him? Well, what Spurrier did is even more impressive than that.

South Carolina is just returning to form. Columbia and Williams Brice are a craphole place. They recruited well for a while, but as far as SEC East schools go, UGAg, Tennessee, and Florida are better places to be. The also have to deal with Clemmons, which is a much, much nicer campus and stadium.

My South Carolina friends cancelled their season tix this year in anticipation of sucking
