snap up Skip Holtz and quickly...All 3 need new head coaches and he would be a vast improvement for any of those teams and a great addition for the ACC.

VT is better than what many thought last week. They just ran into a hot East Carolina team that should be top 10.
 
I have been at both the Va Tech and WVU games the past two weeks, and this ECU team is terrific. Holtz has done a great job.. Now they have to stay focused against CUSA foes.

Today they absolutely dominated WVU in every phase, all day long. WVU misses Slaton and even more, the big FB. Devine was better coming off the wing than as the single back in the spread - he's fast, but not strong.

Va Tech looked better than WVU. Neither are top 10 teams, IMO.
 
When Maryland lost to MTSU, all the Dunkin Donuts in the DC area closed early just to piss Ralph off.
 
ecu should be top 10?? come on man....17....

thats as high as they should ever be
 
I might be skeptical, his overall record is .59 and he beat two over rated teams

WV: no defense at all and lost rich rod and slaton
VT: No offense and lost their entire LB and S.

I can remember another coach that had a little better than average overall record and had a great season at ECU that didn't turn out so well for us...

What is that supposed to mean? They have similar records while at ECU. Besides we have our coach now, I'm just saying If I was Maryland, UVA or Clemson, I might think twice about Holtz and look at someone else.

On a side note, if this does happen then someone needs to get Fridge as their OC IMMEDIATELY.

*sigh* It was a joking way of saying not to mention L****.
 
Its supposed to mean that even oblique references to [that episode] send a great number of us into a very dark and scary place which requires obscene amounts of heavy medication to escape from.

Nothing personal - there's just a lot of PTSS floating around from that period.

As far as Ralph goes, I wonder if he sold his house on the lake. He may wind up an OC at another ACC school in December.
 
If I had to guess, I'd say Skip Holtz will be Notre Dame's head coach this time next year.
 
What about SKIP HOLTZ to Miami??? Shannon is a nice guy and a good recruiter but by no means a head coach. That is a team that should get rid of their coach.

Are you kidding? He just got there. Everyone loved that hire, they're not going to fire him after two season just to pick up a guy who has never coached at the BCS level.
 
I don't see his lack of BCS level experience stopping them or anyone from hiring him. If he says hot and they win out, he will be coaching at a BCS school next year.
