Like I said in the game thread, I know we like to bag on Cut and I loathe dook, but he was very insightful during that ESPN “Film Room” broadcast of the game.Great link, thanks.
(1) It was almost chilling hearing that cold, deadpan Russian announcer say 'Alabama Crimson Tide'. Like he was commenting on the reentry of Sputnik. Brought back memories of Red Dawn and Hunt for Red October and Rocky IV and other great memories of our nearly bloodless victory over the great international empire of atheism.
(2) Did you hear Cutcliffe (I think it was him, he was off-screen) say "This may end the national championship game right here" right when the ball was snapped? Dude knew what he was looking at before any of us fans did.

I think extremely highly of Cutcliffe. He was the secret to Fulmer's success.Like I said in the game thread, I know we like to bag on Cut and I loathe dook, but he was very insightful during that ESPN “Film Room” broadcast of the game.
I was REALLY hoping he'd go to Tennessee when Butch got fired.I think extremely highly of Cutcliffe. He was the secret to Fulmer's success.

More likely he meant it in the opposite sense, that Bama would throw a pick
Russians clearly not happy.
