I enjoyed being at the 2nd game of the year...of course the atmosphere wasn't quite the same after being at the ND game...but just good to be there!
Enjoyed seeing all the back ups get some reps in....I was excited to see Jamal Evans get some reps in on the college level...I wanted to see him get outside and breakaway a long one for a TD (the most)....However it was also great for us to get some reps in w/ the back ups at game speed...live action. I HOPE they continue to hammer out the kick off "tackling execution" b/c it's still the biggest "GAPING WOUND". I think we would see even more points on the board if we could keep the returns inside the 35 yd. line & not out to the 45 or 50 to start the defensive series....Always puts the defenses' backs to the wall.....Anyway, in summary I would like to say "NICE WIN FELLOWS, KEEP WORKING HARD & CORRECT THE MISTAKES, and I BELIEVE we are going to be pleasantly PLEASED w/ our # of wins this year!"
