Skip Bayless and Woody Paige's show.

1) They thought NotreDame should have scheduled a cupcake for their opener.

2) They did not know that Georgia Tech was that good.

3) The GT defense was athletic...but Quinn missed a lot of open receivers (they showed multiple missed open WR's)

4) They thought the adjustments ND made to put more speed on defense was noticeable and effective

5) They said ND has one of the best OL's in the country and "the best offensive mind in college football"

6) They called Georgia Tech "a hostile environment" Saturday night. (I haven't hear that before...or seen GT atmosphere like it was Sat...I agree with them.)

7) Calvin Johnson, perhaps the best WR in college football, got his yards and his catches but they kept him out of the endzone in the 2nd half.

I sure hope that was the best offensive line we'll see this year. They sure kept our big play defense in check. I know we had some tackles for losses, but I'm used to seeing us eat up other offenses.

The only real disappointment defensively was that last critical drive for a TD with the clock running out.

That and a few arm tackle first downs by Walker for 3rd down conversions...and the one on first down when we had them on their own 4.

Conversely one big play on offense in the 2nd half or one turnover could have drastically changed things.

It was a tight hard fought game. Someone had to lose...sux that it was us.
