ESPN: A must read on Calvin not getting the ball...

As a Packer fan I hope they don't figure it out for another week. We had the Lions game here and it was obvious throwing to the little dude down on the goal line was just stupid. I did like to see Butler pick it off though.

well if he was in Atl he would be in a more similiar situation as they're terrible this year & continue to suffer at QB

Yeah, but at least the Falcons would have a receiver that could catch a pass.

Its ridiculous that they don't design more of their offense around Calvin. He goes largely ignored by Kitna for most of their games I've seen.

I've read that Martz wants him to "earn" his reps and opportunities, which is a BS idea when you're that good. Its common sense Throwing a jump ball to a 5'10'' slot receiver when you've got a 6-4 and 6-5 WR on the outside, one of which just snagged one for a TD is just plain dumb.

I'm pretty sure had Calvin come to Atl his numbers would be a lot better if for no other reason than he'd get more attention.

That place is just a disaster. I hope he isn't stuck there too long.

...and wasn't his total contract around $55 million?

Yeah, something like $30M or $35M Guaranteed. Hopefully Calvin's integrity and humility won't keep him from requesting to be traded in a couple years if he doesn't get the ball more.

People have been patient with Martz

but millen and marinelli will start forcing him the ball; he is too good to not.

Finally he doesn't even start....HUH????????? Why not....if he is injured ok fine...but he should be starting IMO.
