Wow, I don't think I have ever been more annoyed by those damn announcers. I couldn't stand Fowler before, but tonight puts the icing on the cake.

Well, at least these guys won't call Michael Johnson as Michael Jackson and Morgan Burnett as Morgan Brunette. Oh yes, the Raycom "commentators" did it during our game against UNC.

"An absolute clinic in option football" - Fowler finally said something smart.

Hey, "most underrated fight song in college football".

not bad Fowler, not bad.

"I'm thinking Bill Young would like a trip into space right now" - Fowler is killing tonight.

How can you complain about these announcers? I cannot remember any announcers EVER giving us this much love on a nationally televised game. This is great for the program.

Earlier in the game, they were terrible. Jesse Palmer is still not adding anything intelligent that you cannot see yourself by simply watching the game. Fowler, though, has gotten a lot better in my eyes for his unabashed GT love tonight. Not surprising since Herbstreit has been high on us this season, and we know that Fowler has a huge man crush on him. Still, Fowler saying that he loves the Ramblin' Wreck is nice.

What was Craig James talking about when he said he played with Cooper Taylor's father at SMU?

Was Jim Bob a death-penalty transfer?

I thought Jim Bob played at F$U. That's what made Cooper's game vs F$U so special.

Pony James might have his Jim Bobs mixed up. That's probably easy to do out in Texas.

Jim Bob started his college career at SMU, and transfered to GaTech.

The ESPN graphic, as Craig James was talking about him, said 22 Cooper Taylor - father Jim Bob played QB at Georgia Tech. Thought perhaps Craig was on crack, but it appears that there was a transfer.

Could have been a death penalty transfer - timing seems about right.

GO JACKETS!!

I had nothing wrong with the announcers tonight. I went to the game so I watched the replay, fast forwarding through the commercials.

I think it is being kind of picky to complain about these guys. They were showering our team with love. The only thing I could think of that was wrong with these announcers is that they were extremely biased towards our team. They sided with us (against the refs) on that "incomplete pass" challenge. At the end of the game they said that we are the strongest team in the ACC. They raved all over Michael Johnson. Jesse Palmer was absolutely correct in his critiquing of Nesbitt's unsure nature in the passing game. And they were absolutely correct when talking about how Miami should have kept Harris in there instead of going with Marve. We won the game, so let's quit bitching about the announcers who showed no animosity towards our team. That's waisted energy. Let's start bitching at UGA instead.

I was at the game, but I've always loved Chris Fowler. I did enjoy it more when it was him, Corso and Herbstreit in the booth. I guess Corso is too old and Herbstreit has too many obligations, but it was a lot more fun then.
