I was looking at ESPN classic replays of college games.

They have 2006 GT v. NCstate on Sunday, April 19th 4pm.

Was that even a good game?

I remember 2005 when the ball tipped off Calvin's hands in the endzone for an interception with about 30 seconds left in the game.

That was the 2nd most crushing defeat I've ever seen in person.

The most crushing I've seen in person was the UGA game Shockley's senior year, 2005 also I think.

Yeah I should probably look into downloading 2008 games. But if somebody is gonna put it on TV, I am not missing it.

If I remember correctly, the 2006 N.C. State game was where C.J. single-handedly (pun intended) won the game with a combination of "the catch" and earning about 65 defensive pass interference calls.

I remember sitting right behind the endzone when Calvin missed that catch. One of the NC State O-Linemen turned around and waved mockingly at us. I got so pissed I shoved an NCState fan standing in front of me...haha.

I think that was 04. And it was won by that awesome cornerback we used to have (can't recall his name) with a pick-6. I think Reggie was 1 of 19 in the first half, with 3 picks.

Those two games were nearly identical, especially at the end. I remember getting this feeling of deja vu, right before Reggie threw the pick that killed us against UGA. Thanks for reminding me of them, I'm calling my therapist now...

Yup that game pretty much defined my experience with Tech football as an undergrad.

Therapy inducing.

Yea, I was enrolled exclusively during the Gailey years. It's an odd juxtaposition. I had two years of CJ, but three of Reggie. At least I got to see the BJ Eldar/Ish Muhammed/Will Bynum/Jarret Jack basketball team. Watching this years cagers was pretty rough.

I shouldn't complain though, at least I wasn't in school during the B*** ****ing L***** years.

Nope. That was 2004.

2006 was the game where someone stole the "T" from NC State on the stadium. Where could it have gone!?

I was at a party in Tennessee when the 2006 game was on. I missed half of the party sitting in my truck listening to the game, lol.

I guess you weren't at the '97 UGa game. I still have nightmares of that one.

I remember '04. We were up 17-14 and NCSU was driving until Keny Scott picked off a ball and went down the sideline for a TD. 24-14 good guys.

2006 was 31-23 if my memory serves me correctly. I know Ball threw a pick six and they opened the 2nd half with a kickoff return TD. That was a radio game for me because we didn't get ESPNU back then.

You lost to UGA every year you were here. That sucks bro.
