Ignored yet again this season. Not even a mention on the show. What's the deal?

Ah, they had to talk about Tebow being hurt and all of the upset loses. I think the thing is we should have won and should have did better the week before. They could have atleast mentioned we were back on track with the beat down of UNC and how we ran all over their great defense.
They spent a lot of time on Houston, Iowa and SouthFlorida.

Eh, I'm not sure this is really a slight. We were a noon game, we had been covered several times on SportsCenter, etc already.

The media hates GT. So does our own conference. VT, FSU, Miami, Unc... these are sexy teams. We are not sexy enough for the pollsters, the refs, our conference, the media, etc.

Noticed the same thing. Only reason I set it to record was to see if they talked about us. Although it's fairly easy to see how we were overlooked yesterday with all the upsets (Cal, PSU, Miami, Stanford) and near upsets (ND, ugag, UM). We won a game where we dominated without a punt block but good old fashioned time crunching drives and solid D. Like BOR said, not sexy enough for ESPN.

Upsets? Haha, they act like it's a new thing having teams in the top 25 lose a bunch of games early in the season. That's the nature of college football now. There is almost as much parity in college football as there is in college basketball. This has been the case for the past 5 years and one of the the strongest arguing points for a playoff system.

++. Utah seriously could have been the best team in the nation last year, but we'll never know without a playoff.

The days are over when a power, whether Nebraska, ND, FSU, or tOSU, could play a full season and only 2-3 meaningful games.

Why are we talking about this? And why are we always so freakin' negative as a fanbase? Why do we spend so much freakin' time talking about being slighted by media or where we fall in the rankings or referrees? There's no purpose to it.

We honestly talk more about the negative **** (refs, national attention, polls) than we do about the game....just look at the Message Board

This could have something to do with the original point of this thread

Furthermore, who ****in' cares?

I'd rather win games and get no hype....hype makes your vulnerable. Ask UGAy

Some people on here just don't get it....and I know some will blast me for it and I can't wait cause those that do are clueless and probably have not much of an understanding of sports, especially football, and instead get their kicks at a game discussing our uniform color schemes, those delicious Bryan Hotdogs, and or how many empty seats there are instead of our gameplay or the hit we just laid on the RB or QB. It's really comical, but it's also sad and embarrassing for the other GT fans out there who get lumped in with these people as TECH FANS as a whole.

I agree on everything but the officiating. Unless you're a national title contender, the polls don't count for a whole lot. But the officiating IS a serious concern. Sure, we won the game, but I know I don't want those refs when we play VT.

Agreed, but at the end of the day...they didn't control the outcome cause we "mushroom bruised" the hell outta them

Also, I hate talkin' about it because it's a broken record. ACC Officials are always f'n terrible
