This morning's "ACC Blog" about written by none other than UGAG super-whore...Mark Schlabach...rather than ANY of the 4 designated ACC writers.

LINK: http://espn.go.com/blog/acc

And, this gem, from the link:

"Tech’s triple-option spread offense also can take a toll on an opponent’s defensive line because of its use of cut blocks. The Seminoles lost three defensive linemen -- Eddie Goldman, Nile Lawrence-Stample and reserve Justin Shanks -- after they suffered lower-leg injuries in the first half of a 37-12 win over FCS foe The Citadel on Sept. 6. The Bulldogs also run the triple-option and use cut blocks, which are designed to knock down defensive linemen by hitting them at the knees."

Its interesting that Whore-bach's diatribe shows up under the ACC, PAC12, BIG12, and SEC tabs, but not the B1G. Hmmmmm.

As the SEC "orifice" that Schlabach is known to be,
he, and of course his "pimp" , ESPN, failed to mention that Citadel players INTENTIONALLY sought out to deliberately inure FSU players.

Facts are just soooooo inconvenient.

WreckEm needs to make a highlight tape of the Seminoles using cut blocks.

Everybody does it. We're just better at it than they are.

That citadel dude bragging about going for injuries only further cemented the national perception that our offense is somehow dirty.

öööö ESPN. We weren't even playing last night and they said we chop block.

Perhaps someone should bring up FSU's long history of wrenching the ankles of star players during/after a tackle.

Was a pretty positive article on GT, plus all over twitter and the internetz there's a lot of love from all types of pundits(yes, even ESPN) on GT and CPJ, don't focus just on the negative.

Yeah, the love is nice. I'm just so tired of this "dirty blocking" myth that continually gets perpetuated.

It's bad enough when it's beat writers for other teams (I'm looking at you, Deems May), but it really irks me when supposed neutral writers parrot it.

looks like the Grantland prediction was correct. The future was nails and Paul Johnson and the JAckets were left swinging

Outlandish Prediction

Georgia Tech takes the Coastal Division with sheer triple-option bullshit. The Coastal is setting up for another crab-bucket season, with all crabs equally weighted and pinchy, and when the swirling sand and bits of shell and innards settle, who stands astride that pile wielding a two-by-four? Paul Johnson. You can see it in your minds, can’t you? The future tastes like nails.

I am desperately trying to figure out how to get 110v onto the field for the rotary saw blocks.

FSU used to be the most head-hunting team there was

at least the new rules regarding hitting the QB late and in the head and such will help us more than the limits on the WR cracking back and the strict enforcement against illegal chop blocks will hurt us

Amazing how the team that considers itself the Number 1 team in the country is complaining about the Citadel. Can't wait to play these guys. The speed of our offense will make the Citadel look like a sandlot pick up team. And, if our defense can put a few sacks on Crableg Winston and get him flustered, we may even get a couple more pick sixes.
