 Why does ESPN Gameplan broadcast games that are already going to be nationally televised on the ESPN family of networks? ESPNU is in very few households nationwide and now it appears with the game not being on Gameplan, I will not be able to see it!

I dunno...because they want more cable/satellite companies to pick up ESPNU?

I sent a message into ESPN voicing those concerns and I will post the response here when they send me an email back. It just chaps my behind that I won't be able to see the game.

I called the 800 # furnished by I believe ESPN . They said I could pay for the extra channels for 14.95 / mo. So I go to the Adelphia officetoday in Cumming which is now Comcast, and they apologized saying they don't have ESPNU.

So I hope the new Taco Mac carrying it.

We've had it for not quite a year now in Augusta through Knology digital. It's a good channel.

ESPN is really amazing, imo.
Last year the "U" was a joke as I recall. They carried small market games like Cornell v Bucknell, etc.

But now they step it up, and my cable provider Comcast will most likely give in eventually. Fortunately, I have a sports bar in the neighborhood for this weekend.

I have DirecTV and it cost me $12 for ESPNU for 30 days. Really good return on my investment as I will save mucho $$$ over watching it in a bar with $4 beers and expensive food, and I will enjoy the game more.

Are any groups in Atlanta going to get together at a sports bar and "own" the place Saturday night?

I will have to suds up before I get there to keep the cost down !:drink1:

Another good plan, McWreck!! I will drink to that. :drink1:

Anyone in the Macon area know where the game will be broadcast at any local places?

There's also a chance that some of our Maui Invitational games will be on ESPNU - so if you purchase it for 30 days just for the GT/NCSU game, you may get some bball game in addition.

Our game vs. Penn State on 11/28 is already scheduled for ESPNU.

I have the same problem too gtfan. I am pissed that I pay for ESPN gameplan but do not get all the games broadcasted by ESPN. I am really, really pissed because I won't be able to see the game.

ESPN is counting on the fan anger to bully cable companies into picking up ESPNU - that's why they don't offer you the choice to pick them up on Gameplan.

Thanks Buzz. This really a good deal then, maybe my best expenditure ever. ;)

I would guess that the place next to Gold's gym would have it, I think it's called Coasters. It's a "Sports" bar. But I haven't been to macon in a while. Maybe even Rivalry's, if it's still around.

I heard several people talk of watching the game at Jock's and Jill's. J&J was suppose to know by today if they would definitely be broadcasting the game.
