Any news on where we stand with him? my cousin goes to the same school as him and he claims the guy is the real deal.

The trip to Notre Dame is a troubling development as they are that one school that can match us for the combination of academics and football.

ask your cousin to get the inside info my man. we're pushing hard for this guy and he seems to like us as well.

Let's just hope they can't match the family-atmosphere we seem to have and which seems to be a major selling point among a lot of our commitments.

Dear Etienne,
The last 3 relatively high profile linebackers at GT are now in the NFL. And they are excelling beyond expectation.

- Daryl Smith starter at Jacksonville
- Gerris Wilkinson starter at NY Giants.
- Key Fox at Kansas City.

A quote from Dick Vermiel on Key Fox-
"I'm impressed,” Vermeil said. “He can close, he has good instincts, he has very good work habits. You can see that he was very well coached in college..."

Most impressively, we also take 2 stars linebackers and make them into top round NFl draft picks. Imagine what we can do with 4 and 5 star linebackers!

To Be Fair

Daryl, Gerris, and Key were all highly regarded coming out of HS. They WERE 4-star.

What some more recent players that we did recruit as 2-stars can do in the league, time will tell.

Already filled his ears with reasons to tell him to go to Tech, but I think he knows of him more then he really knows him if you know what I mean, but he claims the guy is an unbelievable talent.

Did he start crying after saying that?
