Just a thought, but why not make every game a white out? Everyone matches the team and over time more and more fans will wear white. Also, no more worrying about the wrong shade of old gold. It would even be cooler in the early season sun games. What would be the downside?
Btw....the student section looked great in white last night.
 
It's a good color for hiding stains, those pesky whiteish stuff stains.
 
We should have white sections and gold sections at every game. Then one game is a white out. And one game is a gold out.
 
Promote every game as a GOLD OUT, the same way one game a year is promoted as a WHITE OUT.

This is not hard but our AA is retarded. Nobody is not wearing gold because they are concerned about the shade. They are doing it because our messaging is complete garbage and the market is awash in navy. When was the last time there was messaging to WEAR GOLD? Used to be signs around BDS to WEAR GOLD, or NEXT TIME I'LL WEAR GOLD.

For all my disappointment about the AA whipping this out last minute after the FSU game, our fans actually reacted to the constant drumbeat throughout the week, and responded with little notice, and it looked great. Start now and stay consistent. Wear Gold.

And the trailers selling merch and the merch stand in the LW barely had any merchandise in white.

If you really want a white out, you better have some sponsor pony up with some cheap ass white shirts to either give away or sell for $8.

It looked like they gave away white shirts in Club seating, as most of those folks were wearing white.

There is a perfect opportunity for adidas/Tech to have a shirt trade in. Trade an old gold or navy polo for a new adidas Tech Gold polo. Same for old T shirts. Trade a T; get a T.

I have PTSD about Russell. That was a dark period of GT football.

We aren't doing much better, color wise, looking at what is offered for sale, but at least it doesn't look like old Kmart stock like Russell did
