Serious question…
Who is our best player on defense and when did he get injured?
That’s why I asked “and when did he get hurt?” because NOBODY is standing out for us on that side of the ball.We don't have a best player on defense.
We desperately need someone to step up and say that they are going to be involved in every play and actually put a hit on someone. Someone needs to drag the other guys to better. That’s why I asked “and when did he get hurt?” because NOBODY is standing out for us on that side of the ball.
I’m with you but I think some of our problems relate to the guys not trusting each other enough to stick to their individual role in each play.We desperately need someone to step up and say that they are going to be involved in every play and actually put a hit on someone. The situation on defense seems hopeless. Maybe we need to go for high risk/reward defensive playcalling.
Bring 11And what would that be?
Scenario: Opposing team has 1st and 10 on their own 35 yard line. What's the high risk/reward defensive play call?
Bring 11
Seriously though, I mean like more press coverage, more blitzes, more going for take-aways, etc.
Cosmopolitans are for closers.Drinks cosmopolitans.
Guaranteed win!
Finally. A decent response.Cosmopolitans are for closers.
FFS, ten of those came against Old Dominion. Wake has played Elon, Vandy and ODU.Fun fact: GT is #131 (last) in the nation in sacks with just 1. Wake Forest is #1 in the nation with 16.

I do. I'm probably still a dimwit, but I do. That was 16 years ago I think!Holy öööö. Not a single one of you morons have any idea what this thread is about.
Buncha dimwits.
I was there. A solid wall of 30 offensive linemen lined up 3-deep and our fiercest blitzes just bounced off of them like toddlers off a tank line. Any attempt to break thru that line was greeted by the iron clutches of BC’s OL but the refs saw nothing. TD pass after TD pass rained down like the arrows of Darius’ mightiest army turning day into night and night into hell.Holy öööö. There is a reason we hesitate to respond.
I'd start with 4 or 5. The 3 man rush is not getting it done.Bring 11
