By the AP in the Columbus Ledger. (If the Atl paper doesn't write it their way, they just don't want to print it, no matter how good it is). Rad says that "if u want to see major changes, check back in a year", implying that he won't do anything major for about a yr. He also implies that he doesn't like our football schedule to be 'tough' outside of conference gms.
This is a very good read;

Radakovich strategy

Classic, should have used Damon Evans and Athens though.

Seriously, I loved the story. No more of this Dave Braine saying Tech is too tough for us to compete for championships stuff. You have to love that. No more excuses.

Radakovich intends to set the tone that will bring new levels of energy, excitement, and expectations for Tech football. I love it. It will be easier to be a Tech fan!

Great article....I agree it is a SHAME that the AJC can't run an decent article on a school in their own backyard but they'll go out of their way to squeeze in articles about anything that happens on the UGA campus.....I hope that RAD can work his magic & that we will soon see great strides made by using new media outlets to get the message out that GA TECH is rising to ALL NEW LEVELS... RAD welcome once again & LOOKING forward to GREAT THINGS!!!
Let's see what he can do over the next year as "he wakes up in Atlanta every morning!".....work it....

"We've won a national championship in football more recently than Georgia. We've been to the Final Four in men's basketball more recently than Georgia," Radakovich said. "I like to look at the glass as half full rather than half empty."

Noice.

Nice article. From everything I've read so far, I really like this guy. He seems to have a passion and excitement that we've been missing for a while.

I sent him a 3 page email detailing some of the things I see that need changing within the GTAA and our venues, and he responded within a day and answered each and everyone of my questions. some things he obviously had not gotten his hands completely around yet, but he voiced the same concern on the issues that I did. Rad is going to be very good for GT.

BOR pls post Radmans email address here. I only have his old LSU address.

If I noticed one HUGE difference between what Rad said vs. what Braine said, it very fundamental.

Rad uses the word "we" when he talks about GT. After years here, Braine - unbelievably - uses the word "they" when referring to GT.

I just noticed it, but that's awful on Braine's part. It tells you everythnig you need to know.

The Rad\'s email address....

Here ya go to contact Mr. Radakovich....he is one helluva guy...a great addition to our Tech family!

Re: The Rad\'s email address....

I've supported the Radman since day one. I had emailed him earlier and still have his reply in my saved mail. Thanks again Bleed.
