Let's say we go 1-2 over the last 3 games. Do we then apply for an exception at 5-6 to play in a bowl game due to UCF cancelling our 12th game?

I'll hang up and listen. I'll also be dodging all of the feces that will be thrown at me for posting this question.

We'd only make a bowl if slots went unfilled. Our apr puts us near the top of the list.

We certainly can beat VT. Their record against common opponents this year is pretty much a wash. They did better with UNC. We did better with Miami.

I would want a bowl game, even at 5-6. I would think we would be awarded one based on the events of this season. Gives us a chance to finish at .500 and avoid our 2nd losing season in like 20 years.

Would prefer we just beat 2 of the next 3 and avoid this conversation.

There is no transitive property in college football. That said, I think Tito Fuentes' halo has slipped a bit. Bud Foster keeps raving about the foundation for future championships being laid, and still can go 10-2, but they haven't been great yet. Probably will put it all together against us.

I didn't use the transitive property, I made a comparison against common opponents.

We've both faced Clem, Miami, UNC. We've both gone 1-2. The is no reason to write VT off as a loss, especially given we are a much better home team than a road team.
