Expect Bothe Zach's to play

What happened to Clemson transfer? Never really healed?

Is Taison really that bad?

Pick one and give them the #1 reps all week. Make a decision.

He’s trying to make FSU guess which one. We’re gonna trot Gibson out on first play and they’re gonna go “Oh thank God it’s the guy who ran out of bounds on last play” and then BAM we switch quarterbacks and they’re like “oh öööö! It’s QB3! The most dangerous weapon on a football team!”

This press conference really allows you to read between the lines.
1. Different injury to Sims than the week before. This time it was a "sprained foot". They did an MRI so training staff may have thought there might be more damage in there.
2. Deflected from Taisun question and stated he expects both Zachs to play. This tells me Taisun either is injured or has a ball security issue.
3. Comments re: Gibson to the effect that his strengths didn't show in the game. Might be an anti-gamer.

Combine all of the above and it paints the picture of what happened in the game. Sims was being cautious about another injury, ends up getting a second injury which the staff wouldn't have expected and planned for the same as if it was a reinjury. They had a backup ready to go, but he was an absolute dud and they didn't have a third string ready, likely because Pyron wasn't in game planning and having zero confidence to go to Taisun in a situation where ball security was make or break. They felt the best chance to win was put together 1 successful drive with Gibson.

Or just renumber them and put no names on the back of the jersey.
