The Florida State University Police Department is investigating a fight that occurred at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday during FSU’s Market Days Wednesday, said Maj. James Russell.

The large fight was allegedly between some members of the FSU football team and members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Likely more than 10 persons were involved, but the actual number is not determined at this time, Russell said.
FSU Football Coach Bobby Bowden would not comment on the situation other than confirm that he’s aware of an incident involving some players and that police are investigating.

Four persons are believed to have been injured, including two men and two women students.

Not sure where you get this assumption, beej...football players do have girlfriends. Either football players or frat boys beat up girls is probably a more accurate statement.
