Falcon hire should be,

... discussed in the "other sports" thread. There are RULES here.

Nah, I don't care. And my first pick would be Bill Cowher.

They got tones of cash, so it will be someone expensive, gailey and jonhson are not expensive..

How about Hatcher. His name seems to come up with every job opening

Bill Parcels he was considered the world's greatest coach right up until he stopped winning championships. Kinda like Charlie Weiss, only Parcels did actually win big in the past.

Jimmy Johnson, knows how to coach hoodlums and win. Might be well suited for current Falcon players.

Mark Richt

Come on Falcons, throw $4.0M at the Richtster!!!!

bill cowher would be my pick too, but its probably too soon for him to get back on the sideline.

he may like the studio for a while

PLEEEEEEEEEZ not him. I want us to beat UGA while he's the coach. I do NOT want him leaving and having it hanging over our head that, if Mark R were still at UGA, then GT would not have beaten us. No sir, I want to be the best they got at that hydrant heist'n kennel, and to start with, I want to beat them AT LEAST one game more in a string than they have beaten us. AT LEAST ONE GAME MORE. Not saying it can't be more than that, just at least one game more. After we get more wins than losses against them and him, he can go wherever he wants to. BUT NOT YET !!!!
He's won too many of our marbles to let him go running off to another job. we gotta get some back.

Falcons first move should be firing Rich McKay and replacing him with a competent GM --then to hire Mike Singletary.

They should just save their money and let Alge Crumpler run the show.

He seems to think he knows everything.

Their pick really depends on who they draft at QB. If they predict a star early in the first round, then they need a long term program building coach like Schott or Gailey.

If they go outside and pick a QB via free agency and actually try to win right away then they'd need someone with more passion and Singletary is not a bad idea.

Picking Gailey in this scenario? Really? Would you want to waste a 1st round pick on a QB who will never be developed?

Gailey would be a good choice then they could use the 1st Round pick on something other than a QB. He would bring Reggie in and ...
