To no surprise of anyone who's bought season tickets before, just a heads up the GT FB Ticket Office is at it again.

Just got a notice saying my tickets were being discontinued since I had not renewed by Jan 20th. And this is not even the first time this has happened this ticket cycle.

Fortunately I am an email packrat & zapped 'em back their confirmation of my purchase dated Nov 15th. Oh yeah, I made sure the Director of Ticket Operations, Brandon Wagner, and JBatt were also addressed on the email.

SMH.

If you got them on the installment plan, like I did, you probably also have credit card confirmation of the payments.

For the love of all that is good and holy, can we please figure this out once and for all.

You also cannot buy season tix in upper North above the walkway online. Not sure why. There are loads of empty seats up there.

Visiting school allotment. The remaining tix get put up for sale after the other schools let us know how many they have sold, is what I presume.

Nah. Visitor allotment isn't there. They do it in Upper East and (I assume) Upper West, too. It's been clear for the last couple years when I look at season tickets online that they only release small random batches of seats near where tickets have already been sold. I assume it's to try to generate some density of seating in the most easily viewed areas of the stadium (ie, nearer to the field) and also to project a feeling of scarcity when browsing the tickets.

Seems reasonable
I bet it's about maximizing ticket (and I guess, media) revenue, which we should support

When they added seats up there way back when, nobody told the ticket office and I guess they never noticed.

Pretty sure than in all my years on GT message boards, one thing has never changed.

If the thread title contains a reference to the ticket office, the first sentence in the post always starts with "To the surprise of no one..."

I don't even need to open the thread and I can tell you what's in it.

I literally had to beg them to add the two EMPTY seats next to me back in 2007-ish or so, despite them sitting empty for 3 years. They would have been just as well off giving them to me hoping extra souvenirs and concessions would be purchased.

Another good one from this week. The rep in the ticket office issued my NIT tickets and parking pass to me before running my card to pay for them. I downloaded them to my wallet on the day of the game.. When I got there, my parking pass worked fine, but once I got to the door the scanner wouldn't accept my tickets. They looked into it at the box office and said that instead of processing my card, the ticket rep mistakenly printed the tickets, which made my electronic tickets void.
