Feedback from recruits after GT vs. Miami

I hope that the recruits that were visiting the FLATS over the weekend walked away in AWH of the game atmosphere & RESULTS. I really do hope that it totally confirmed our verbal recruits. I really hope that Everson & a few of the other guys that have been "riding the fence" decide to come on OVER TO GT.....it will be interesting to see who steps up first for our REMAINING spots.....Any thoughts/ideas/comments on who you think will STEP UP & JOIN the AWESOME recruiting class of '07???

I doubt the results of one game sway many recruits, but it can't hurt. It was a great atmosphere for the game. We have made a decided leap forward in that department this year. We can keep it up as fans and do our part to help recruiting. I imagine we will see some 'fruit' from this weekend's recruiting activities. They were still on campus today and were expected to meet with Coach Gailey at some point. I expect he will seal the deal on some.

I hope he did too. The last thing we need is our recruits/commitments becoming ineligible for GT's requirements and having to play at UGAy, F$U, and the like.

IMO the most impressive thing about this weekend, funny as it may sound, was how many people were jumping up and down to the kickoff techno music after the Tashard Choice TD. Like, everyone. Yeah, the students always do it, but the Wine and Cheesers were doing it Saturday.
