Feeling Sorry for Calvin

I'm watching the Lions and the Texans and the Texans are dominating.

The announcers sarcastically mentioned "That's one way for Johnson to touch the ball" after he fell on a fumble in the backfield by the QB.

Other Detroit receivers are WIDE open as the entire Texans DB has one eye on Calvin at all times.

He desparately needs a quality QB.

Meanwhile. Schaub is 6 for 6 so far. (correction, 7 for 7 as I type.)

Let it be known, both Shaub and Calvin Johnson started on my fantasy team and they have both allowed me to kick some fantastical butt.

That is all.

I felt bad for not only Calvin, but myself as well, as soon as Matt Millen decided to take another WR. I realized I won't get to watch the most amazing receiver ever until he goes to play somewhere else. When does his contract come up?

After the 2012 season.

I think you'll see a difference next year. Any idiot would use next year's pick to go after a quality QB. And then you should see some of the potential being reached.

That'd be nice to have Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy slinging it at him. Hopefully the Lions won't mangle the first pick again... Gosder Cherilus isn't even starting.

Quality college QB and quality NFL QB doesn't always match up though. Ryan Leaf? Alex Smith? Matt Leinart? Personally, CJ is the only reason I'd even bother to turn a Sunday game on. The college retirement league isn't much fun to me.

Don't be surprised if they take Fat Matt from Athens.

I'd rather see Sam Bradford throwing to him, though.
