Based on "opponent adjusted drive efficiency"

We have a 0.722 chance to beat Miami?

Compared with:
0.727 for GA southern.


So all this really tells is is that Ga Southern and Miami had similar "adjusted drive efficiencies" against their respective opponents.

Which tells us nothing.

Numbers are sorta meaningless against a team that just cleaned house on the staff. So throw out the results for UGA, Miami, and UVA. BC hired Loeffler after last year for some dumb reason and VT retained Bud Foster so in aggregate throw one more result out for them. The data doesn't know who any of these teams are.

UGA is on the road while Clemson is at home. That's generally a six point swing. So the model says Clemson is better than UGA, but not six points better.
