Fights??

I saw a picture on ajc of what looked to be a huge fight. Was it anything serious or is the ajc blowing it out of proportion?
 
Saw interviews with Robertson and Bennett and they were making it out to be nothing. Perhaps a product of those media-interview classes they had to take, but I'm inclined to believe that it was nothing and they've put it behind them.
 
Could've been a big fight and it would still be nothing. This stuff happens all the time in training camp(or whatever you call it in college). Not a big deal.
 
Didn't sound like much to me either...sounds like Taylor doesn't mind taking a hit though!!!

Well, duh, yeah.

I recall a player who used to post on the Hive as Ironman (Sr offensive lineman whose name I can't recall at the moment...Ken?) and Keith Brooking got in a fight at practice one day....they fought for a while because everone was scared to stop it!


Edit: Oh, yeah, it was Ken Celaj (sp?
 
This season: see Titans. I don't think that anyone is too concerned about their fight. Just competitive juices flowing.

I also like how we are practicing outdoors still while U[sic]GA moved inside.
 
I SEEN the WHOLE THANG!!!!

Tater tossed the ball, hung his head in disgust, began jogging the other way in mock pursuit, then ROBO nearly blindsided him for a pancake. Robo held his head back, HOOOOing like Rick Flair, allowing Tater to PICK him UP for an airplane spin, into a full body slam. Tater did the chicken strut around the stunned ROBO, when everyone else arrived.

Like I said, I SEEN THE WHOLE THANG!!!!!!:laugher::laugher::laugher:

did you see where gailey picked up a chair, tossed it to Capt. Lou who pummeled Wheeler, while the van Erics came in to tame Nick Claytor. then out of NOWHERE Buzz Sawyer came out and was rubbing someones face in the sod.

man, what an awesome battle!
 
Football practice without a fight is non-existent. If you are going to have the same guys beating on ea other play after play, you're gonna have fights. Matter of fact, most coaches that I've ever known just ignore fights and figure it makes the players better. You can expect to see a lot more of that before the first game, it's just gonna happen. Ain't nothing wrong with it either.

My guess is we're only seeing more of it now due to the increased coverage - which is outstanding! My view on the AJC might even change if they keep this up.
