With exception of a few track athletes in the NCAA's and the huge conference tournament game in baseball with UNC coming up Friday, this year is just about done. I can't remember the overall program being this bad in a long time. Our new AD has a big hill to climb. Here are my grades: Football - C-; 5-6, 3rd in division, tied for 5th overall in conference, no bowl Men's Cross Country - C; 8th in ACC, 12th in South Regional Women's Cross Country - C-; 12th in ACC, 5th in South Regional Volleyball - D+; 13-18 overall, 10th in ACC Women's Basketball, C+; 20-14 overall, 10th in ACC, one win in ACC tourney, 3rd round NIT Men's Swimming and Diving - C; 9th in ACC Women's Swimming and Diving - C-; 1oth in ACC Men's Basketball, D+; 13-19; 13th in ACC, 6-12, 1st round tourney exit Men's Track - D; 13th in ACC Women's Track - D; 13th in ACC Baseball - C-; 31-26, 14-16 in ACC, 8th in ACC, 1st round tourney loss to Pitt, likely done for year Softball - C; 28-26 overall, 6th in conference, no NCAA bid Golf - A-; won 4 tournaments, ACC Champs, NCAA flameout in regional Men's Tennis - D+; 8-17 overall, 12th in ACC, got two wins in ACC tourney, no NCAA bid Women's Tennis - A+; 25-6 overall, 12-2 in conference, lost in ACC semis, lost in NCAA semis If all sports are equal - 1.93 GPA for 2017/2018; Counting Football as a 5 hour course, Basketball as a 4 hour course, Baseball as a three hour course, and everything else as a 2 hour, the GPA comes in at 1.89. I think my grading was fair, bordering on too easy.
