Finally, official word on our new Asst. Coaches!

Jeep Hunter has been officially named the te coach. He is a good recruiter and was rb coach at Memphis. He also ran recruiting visits while at Clemson. CJT is the new associate head coach and Giff the new recruiting coordinatior.
 
Do you know enough about the recent coaching changes to say if we'll be better off now with these replacement coaches? Just wondering.
 
As was made clear to us the morning session of signing day, the goal is to hire coaches who are great recruiters. We accomplished that with all three hires. The other thing mentioned was that we will stay closer to home in our recruiting. All three, Collins, Hunter and Kelly have excellent resumes as southeast recruiters.

To tell the truth, it would be hard for our ST or TE play to be much worse, so any change there is fine by me. The added bonus of the recruiting talents these guys seem to have is huge as well.
 
I can't say anything on how Jeep Hunter will be coaching TE's but I can speak of the man as a man and believe that we will all be well pleased. Just so happens that Coach Hunter was my defensive coordinator when I was in high school.
