this "play to win" mentality is bull****. we need to be more conservative. that is what lost us the game.
 
And you wonder why it stinks like crap every time you post Kyle. :ugh:
 
Well, for what it's worth, Chan would have run the clock out at the end of the first half and not given up the turnover, which was a 7 point differential, which gave them the game in the end.

Conversely, Chan would have found another way to lose. Hehe.
 
I have to say I was initially pissed we turned over the ball and thought about how we may have needed to be more conservative there. However in retrospect looking at the play and circumstances we needed to grind out some yardage to kill that clock before the half. Even so we were in decent position to maybe move the ball in field goal range and have some great momentum going into the half. Ultimately I think we all have to rest with the fact that it wasn't coaching there that lost the game but the execution of a simple handoff.

Okay... I kind of defended you on a different post... but no more... ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?!? You are what make the Tech Fan base look like a joke to the rest of the nation! Fire CPJ?!?! He loses one game and you want his head... your a freakin moron! How can you call yourself a fan if you can't even back the coach when he is a PROVEN winner. It's his first loss, in his first season I-A, with a lot of kids who are working inside this offense for the first time. I'm not going to lie... if I saw your chuncky pock-marked face at a game... He was kidding? I'm serious. We pick up Tommy Bowden, then go ahead and bring Patrick Nix back. I'm sure he's tired of all those morons in Miami that cannot manage to run the beautiful and haunting Nix offense that we were so close to having for years, but Gailey would manage to screw up...
