He’s the one who hired this idiot and handcuffed us to him for an extended contract. Make him pay the price for this. And replace him with someone who can’t wait to get rid of G-off and creates a horrible environment that makes G-off want to leave.

I do blame his extreme desire to get away from the option. It was driven by former donors and players and people who know football. We’ll those people got their guy and he doesn’t know anything about the strategy of football. Which also makes it impossible for him to evaluate coordinators so it’ll basically be a crap shoot if we retool in that direction.

Stupid 2009 UGA game. Catch the damn ball Thomas.

And stupid Vad Lee saga too. Believe in your team and coaches. Stop listening to assholes who make you think you’re better than you are.

And stupid Paul Johnson too. No one told you to dump the option. Just be a better salesman for it.

Should have been fired for giving a 7 year contract to Collins in the first place. He was a G5 coach who would have jumped at a P5 job, and moreover he had a connection to Tech. He would have come on a 4 or 5 year deal. The fact that Stansbury thought so poorly of this job that he thought 7 years was the only option, is very telling.

Look at what Arky did with Sam Pittman. We should see if that AD wants to get out of the Ozarks and come to the big city.

I’m fine with wanting to get away from the option, but we hired ööööing Billy Mays as our coach.

(someone with better skills than me please photoshop G-off’s head onto this with maybe some 404theculture, 3stripesuckage, and a “But WAIT, there’s MORE!”

It’s the fact that everyone actually believed transitioning from the option was going to take this massive roster overhaul that led to 7 years. It should realistically take no more than 2.5 years to have a roster full of kids who are back to actually playing football the same way they did in high school instead of in a “high school offense.”

it’s just dumb people making big dumb decision with your money.

Our money men wanted to move away from the option. We needed a recruiter to do that. Collins has done a solid job there.

Tod needs to call both coordinators into his office and let them know they have the talent available to be a bowl team this year. They öööö the bed by dropping a winnable game. No bowl this year and they need to find another team.

Collins can object and leave with them if he can’t make a bowl. Or he can get new coordinators now that he has P5 talent running a conventional offense available.

This was always a possibility. Year 3 is proof of concept for the coordinators. Year 5 is proof of concept for Collins.

Right now, the bigger faster team got manhandled at home on opening weekend. We had probably the 3 best running backs on the field. We had 5 yard outs available all game. This was an unspeakably bad loss. Way worse than losing to Kansas state.

They would just laugh and ask TS, "Who the hell are you going to get as coordinators for this guy?"
