Fire the coach!!

I feel like the older Richt gets the more and more out of touch he gets with the players. It seems his gimmicks were always to act like the "cool coach" that let his players have a black out or excessive celebration penalties, or rack up felony weapons charges while driving around downtown Athens, or breaking a guy's eye socket at a BBQ. When you're quickly approaching the wrong side of 60's its hard to still be able to connect with 18 year olds. I wouldn't be surprised to see other coaches with similar approaches (ala Dabo) fizzle out as they get older too. In typical Miami fashion it may be time for him to retire and start his own ponzi scheme.

* This Georgia Tech offensive line is superior to any of the past several years. That needs to be mentioned. It's the reason they can throw the ball so seldom. Some tweaks to the offense but notice they are not abusing the rocket toss anymore. They use that play only when Johnson has no confidence in the B-back aspect up the middle and otherwise doesn't think the quarterback can get to the corner. In their worst seasons Georgia Tech is stuck using that rocket toss all the time. In the 2018 offense they use it as changeup...not necessity"

That's also the reason we've been able to throw the ball well when we do. QB's not running for dear life trying to get a throw off every time we drop back.
