I am hoping that our first drive of the game is long and painful for Clemson. I would love to see us getting 6 to 10 yards a carry with out a single pass. We need to break their spirit early and often. Then by the third drive of the game we open it up to deep passes to Thomas.

CPJ thought that the quick score against JSU led to a lack luster performance. Lets hope his play calling and the teams execution is merciless. "Run it up....let there be no doubt"

I'll take another 74-yard touchdown run followed by a Clemson fumbled kickoff return. This time, though, I'd like to see a TD drive instead of settling for a field goal that close to the endzone.

Heck yeah. I would think a quick strike would electrify the stadium and pump up the defense as well.

(if we score fast) I'm fairly certain that the team will not lose focus given the opponent.

I would agree with this principal if we were on the road, nothing takes a team and fans out of it like the opposing team putting up a long sustained drive and scoring. However at home, nothing will energize our crowd and give Clemson that "Oh shi*" feeling better than a couple of quick scores. :)

Here's hoping to being up 14-0 before the midway point in the first quarter.
