1. Special teams were disastrous
- It’s hard to win many football games when a team’s special teams have as bad of a day as Tech’s did.

2. Tobias Oliver shines
- He helped the Jackets turn a 21-17 halftime deficit into a 38-28 early-fourth quarter lead.

3. Defense is a work in progress...Still after all these years
- Wommack, (2008-09) Groh (2010-12), Kelly (2012 – interim), Roof (2013-17), Woody (2018- Present)

4. Linebacker speed or lack of is an issue
- There were several plays when Mitchell & Curry were just simply outrun when they shouldn’t have been.

5. Same old, same old
Georgia Tech and double-digit leads mix together as well as oil and water. The Yellow Jackets lost four games in 2017 when they had a lead of at least 10 points. Georgia Tech led by 10 at the start of the fourth quarter after Oliver’s third touchdown of the game. That’s when it came crashing down for the Yellow Jackets. At some point, being close isn’t going to cut it.

We will lose another game, maybe two, because of the kickoff team. For some reason our coaches never correct that particular issue during the season. It will plague us this whole season.

we need to quit scoring, that'll cut down on that stuff
actually it is amazing that it has gone on so long(except with Butker)--combo of poor coaching and no depth
