I noticed on CBS that they have the game scheduled for 10/26. Is that right? Is UGA actually going to play a Thursday game? There has to be a mistake.

No, that's not right. The game is on the 28th, Saturday (same day we play scUM).

No that is not correct, the Cocktail party always is on a Saturday Afternoon. I always enjoy my Gators smoking the mutts.
