I was reading this unit ranking on rivals and thought it was a decent read, though unfavorable for us. http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=835859 However I did think something interesting from reading it. We are obviously very strong up front which should shut down most of the running game for opponents and pressure the qb's in the ACC. Based on the article and general knowledge we would be weak in the secondary but there really aren't many weapons at qb in the conference we will play and UNC might be the best receiving corps. It just doesn't seem like theres a complete offensive package sans Clemson which most of us chalk up as a loss already. Is this reason enough for some very positive hopes for the season? Seems as if with our strength up front and the relative weakness of other teams to hit us where it hurts downfield we could be very solid on D. This may be reiterating points made time and again but I was hoping for some thoughts.
