Some of you need a reminder. The following are the things that you should not do in the football forum.

1. Jumping from thread to thread spouting the same comment/opinion over and over (spamming)
2. Posting real life info of any user or threatening any user (violent or legal action)
3. Showing generally bad fellowship to other Stingtalkers (remember we are all GT fans)

We all need to pay attention to rule 3 right now.

There's probably going to be a lot of passionate discussion this season where many of you won't see eye to eye on a lot of things. Lots of us are very heavily invested in GT football and it's understandable that we're going to continue to discuss football bluntly with each other. Sometimes after a loss, people are going to be making drunk posts, and tempers will be high. Some of you might get called morons, some of your mothers may come up in the conversation.

This is generally fine, but don't take it too far. Especially as the week progresses and some of us sober up, the time for that is over. When a thread gets to the point where it is nothing but personal attacks on fellow GT fans, I am going to lock it and eventually I will start banning people who can't help but devolve every thread into that sort of thing. Feel free to disagree with each other and discuss whatever you want, but keep the topics at least loosely football related and at least remotely civil.
