Football on Jeopardy

Even my wife got all of them except Who are the Putple People Eaters.

I saw the first show he was on and pretty sure he was from Seattle. Just screamed lattes and $15/hr minimum wage. Long way from being from Tech.

In fact, I kinda resent that you would even make that connection.

Confirmed: Ryan Fenster a banker from SeaTac, WA.

Why couldn't I have been on this show? Knew everyone, like most here. No, if I was to ever get on Jeopardy, one of my categories would be, "14th century Icelandic Poetry Metaphors."

I've often wondered why some people don't like sports. What's different about them?

My best guess is in most cases it's as simple as they didn't enjoy sports as kids because they sucked at them. You don't appreciate the athletic feats of others if you weren't involved in athletics yourself. I also think many women don't enjoy competition and victory the way men do.

I think lots of it is parent-driven. My 2 boys are 8 and 6 and have been going to BDS for years already - they are huge GT fans and Falcon fans because of me. And the kids on our street are into sports also. Too early to know how they'll do in sports themselves, but I knew lots of non-athletes that were huge fans.

The part I don't get is even if you aren't a fan you should know some of these answers. The Tom Landry question was really easy and should have been known by at least one of them.
