Football season tickets

In the past, I have just bought season tickets off of others who bought extras, but want to get my own this year.How difficult is it to get tickets on the lower level for football? This will be my first year getting some, and would prefer to be down there if possible. I know it would be impossible without AT points, and I have a few, so what is the level of points needed? (I know there is a chart, but not sure how accurate it really is)
 
If you have the juice you can have some very fine lower level seats, especially in the lower east. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/readthis.gif

If not, I would go down to the ticket office and just ask. You will be helped.

Yes you can. I generally sit in the upper east stands (which are great seats by the way) and have sometimes thought about sneaking down and sitting in one of those empty gold chairbacks in the lower level.

Me too. Best seats in major college football. I love Grant Field.
 
Ya know I don't remember sitting on the east side. Probably did when I was a little kid. I bet they're great with the Tech Tower overlooking the West side, huh?
 
The TECH tower overlooking the west side, particularly during a night game, is a great sight indeed. I just feel closer to the field in the east stands than I did in the west stands.

Actually, the east stands sit lower to the field and there is that bit of an overhang that actually puts you closer to the field. As P_W said, some of the greatest seats in college football.

That being said, I am not that wild about the expanded north stands, I am one of those that wishes the old horseshoe at the south end was still in tact. But, BDS @ HGF is an awesome place for football.
 
I have heard this is the reseating year. If true does anybody know the dates for picking your seats?
 
According to the AT site, reseating wont take place for football until 2008...looks like basketball is next season.
