I think recruiting only matters a lot of you have the NIL to retain the players. This seems to be where Ohio State and ND are excelling relative to the competition. They maintain continuity and then attract targeted talent in the portal. Teams like us, can’t focus only on recruiting until we have the NIL to retain all our best players.
