For AJ fans and foes........

I don't think there is any question that AJ gives a good effort every game.

I also don't think there is any question that he is inconsistent under game pressure situations (actually one might could say that he is too consistent in those situations).

The question really is why was it necessary to play a very sick AJ Suggs the entire game (except one series) against a team the caliber of Dook?

It didn't make AJ any better and it didn't give any of the backups any additional experience.

Mindboggling, really.

I have had my concerns with AJ and the way the staff has handled the QB position. However, I want to go on record now that I believe he will have a career game in Athens. You heard it here first.

I don't think there's a doubt about AJ's character. What people have been beefing about is that AJ probably didn't NEED to gut it through like that. Give Bilbo some reps and see what he can do.

Consider the dead horse beaten again.

Beeware....I agree completly.

Especially in the second half where we never score a point anyway.......

Never before have I been ready for a GT football season to be over. In two weeks, I may be.

Go Jackets!

BeeWare I agree on this one. (gasp, did I say that?) He's a tough kid, maybe not a star but he seems to give it everything he's got. I too wish Bilbo had gotten time in the second half.

right on BeeWare...no excuse for not letting Dbo use his five plays(if that's all he has) more than once!

AJ will play well against anyone if he's given the right game plan to work with. I believe we need to spread the field and throw controlled, short and intermediate passes. Run some option and some handoffs. Sprinkle in a long pass here or there.

AJ needs high-percentage plays early in the game to get his confidence going. We don't need a bombs-away approach like we had against FSU. We do need a running game to take a little pressure off of him. I like our OL and think we can run a little on Georgia to open up the pass for AJ.

AJ, I salute the effort you've given this year. Hang in there and play hard against UGA.
