Threet was just moved to a 4 by Scout and ranked #13 in the country. This recruiting class is simply amazing. It started with Gilbert, Tarrant, Jefferson...then the group of buddies exploding in July...now this last group Aug. 31 that was heavily recruited by Jackson, Threet, Walls, Donley, and Jones.

What a treat it could have been to see Threet throwing to #21, assuming that Calvin leaves after this year....Although I did send in a question to Calvin when he was in the ESPN Chat & he said that he hasn't even thought about the draft....


None the less, I am glad to see Threet moving up & looking forward to a bright future...I am confident that there will be other stars....espically on the OL next & RB positions we will be deep!
 
Hiverd, you made a mistake....

It should read "...now this NEXT group Aug. 31."

You have the word LAST in there, and I don't think we are done yet! :fingersx:

Well...we could get a 4th that weekend...but that only leaves two spots...two spots we technically do not even have yet. Therefore, I only classify groups as 3 or more!

The last two will definitely be big...and we will be turning away big recruits as well that still like us.

Hey, Threet will be here in January, and he's shown he can be quite the salesman...

(but, yeah, it's just a dream)

no...because these guys are all ACC/SEC calibre recruits...not a sleeper among the bunch.
 
I meant for the recruits we will have to leave behind, is there any chance that we'd ask one to greyshirt until next January, effectively redshirting but missing the Fall quarter.

The ones we are leaving behind have offers to schools like Maryland, Louisville, Florida, Tennessee, Wake Forest, etc. I do not see it happening.
 
It's good to our QB commit is getting the number of stars he deserves. Hopefully rivals will do the same soon.
 
Add another one.......CB Mario Butler moves up to 4 stars on Scout.
