Forever 2009 ACC Champs!

With all of the frustration with the coaching search and bowl selection, I thought I would share something maybe to make us all smile a little.

My buddies and I had this made up for the Western Carolina game in 2011 after the ACC stripped us of the title over $300.

I am pretty sure the clear baggage policy would not allow us to sneak in another banner of this size. We had fun for 5 mins until the Tech police told us to take it down.

Anybody else remember seeing this in Sept 2011.

Didn't see that one during that game. During the 2011 Clemson game, my fraternity's section was right above the NW Tunnel, and I printed and hung a "(STILL) 2009 ACC CHAMPIONS" banner. Stadium security was all over it, and said we couldn't hang it, but we could hold it. Drunk people jumping up and down in excitement of the game pretty much destroyed it. I got a nice cloth banner hanging in my living room instead.

After yesterday, GT should put up a huge ACC Championship Banner at Grant Field with 1990, 1998, and 2009. Let Swofford come and try to take it down.
