if you disagree with this request, please explain why you insist to call Chan Gailey by that "name".

BW will never answer any question he will give some lame excuse about his eyes like a deer.

I'll answer this one, since it's my fault that BW uses that nick for CG.

Back last winter or spring, Beeware was ranting one day about what an awful recruiter Gailey was, and he said something about CG being like a "deer in the headlights" when it came to confronting the rough, tough world of Div. I recruiting.

So I said something like, "If you mean by that that he isn't going to lie and cheat and go after athletes who can't handle Tech, then I say let's call him Buck and just go on."

Ever after that , BW has called CG "Buck." It's really a compliment to CG, but Beeware doesn't treat it that way.

I am no longer hostile to Beeware, though I was for a long time when I first came on the board. Now he's like an eccentric cousin, as somebody said, and I actually enjoy his posts. I think his opinions about our coaches are dumb, but so what? I finally took my Midol, as Beeware says, and got over it.

Thanks Belly for the explanation. Your description of Chan's integrity was great. I think that he represents well what GT is concerning character and integrity and grit.
