Georgia Tech was outscored 100-0 in its final two games of 2021 and saw its home stadium overrun with red and black for the season finale. It's clear that time is running out for Collins to turn the tide on his tenure, and while it was always going to take a few years to transition out of the triple option, this season needs to indicate a major step forward. Sims has shown flashes throughout his two years at Georgia Tech but has struggled with turnovers and durability while completing just 57% of his passes. In 2021, Sims threw 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions while splitting time under center with Jordan Yates, who has since transferred to Sam Houston State. Phommachanh arrived at Clemson as a 4-star recruit and was considered one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country out of high school as part of the 2019 recruiting class. However, he couldn’t crack the starting lineup as he sat behind a guy with long blonde hair in 2019 and 2020. Whether or not Phommachanh can provide that spark remains to be seen, but his addition creates competition at the most important position on the field.

I didn't write the article, Steven Gagliano from 92.9 THE GAME did. I just posted for your viewing pleasure!

Gibson is better
Clearly Gibson played better than Sims in the spring game. If he is also better than the Clemson kid than let's start him! Start the QB that can lead the team to victory! I am tired of watching our team get blown out most every game under the Geoff Collins era.

The thing is, it is good that someone is making threads and linking articles. Someone should be doing that, even if there is little-to-nothing new to be found or said. But those of us who don't want to sit and self-flagellate over 3-in-3 for the entire summer are just bitching about the assholes who do, instead of just taking the discussion back. It is not a complicated process.

If one of these dumbasses makes a new thread, especially with a link, the first person in just needs to copy the link, make a new thread and start a discussion geared towards something other than the blind buttmad banshee act being put on by a handful of entitled little girls.

Sims looks rough for this first half. It's not clear if that's because he's play 1st def instead of 2nd. Gibson looked good. 2nd team def didn't disrupt the pocket as much as 1st.

Remember our Total Team Defense last year ranked 117 out of 130 in the FBS. Our first team or second team defense shouldn't be shutting anyone down IMHO
